Now a days Yemen Agates are part of Precious Gemstones in international market, this is not easy to find stone, A true Yemeni Agate (Aqeeq) is always difficult to find online or on shops, Usually there are many similar agates are coming from Iran, Indonesia, india and china markets, But only Experienced people can judge the true Yemeni agate, even labs can hardly able to find the origin of agates. All red agates or brown agates can not be called Yemen agates, Yemen agates have different tone/hue in color.

Yemeni Agates are primarily formed within volcanic and metamorphic rocks.
